Helping Dads Build Legacies of Strength – Forge Yourself Into Something Greater
In today’s world, the role of a father has never been more critical—or more undervalued. We’re living in a time when fatherlessness is not just common, it’s a crisis. In the U.S. alone, over one in four children—roughly 18 million—grow up without a father in the home. This absence isn’t just physical; it leaves deep emotional, psychological, and even spiritual voids. Children from fatherless homes are statistically more likely to struggle in school, face behavioral issues, and fall into cycles of poverty, addiction, or incarceration. The data is clear: kids need their dads.
But it’s not just about being present—it’s about being engaged. A good father offers more than financial support; he offers strength, guidance, discipline, and love. He shows his children what it means to live with integrity, how to handle adversity, and how to treat others. He lays the foundation for identity and security. In short, a good dad doesn’t just raise children—he raises future men and women who can stand on their own and contribute meaningfully to the world.
At the same time, many men today are grappling with a crisis of meaning. As traditional roles erode and societal expectations shift, countless men feel adrift—disconnected from purpose, unsure of their place. This lack of direction often leads to passive living, numbing behaviors, or retreating from responsibility. But stepping fully into fatherhood can be the answer to that void. Fatherhood gives men a mission. It calls them to something higher than themselves—to protect, provide, and pass on wisdom. In doing so, men don’t just raise families—they forge themselves into something greater.
Now, more than ever, we need fathers who are strong, present, and purpose-driven. Because when men rise to the challenge of fatherhood, they don’t just transform their families—they transform the world.
Our Mission: To Empower Fathers to Lead and Succeed
Meet the passionate Dad driving Forged By Fatherhood forward.

Hey, I’m Rick Alexander
I’m a husband, a father, and a man on a mission to help other dads rise up and reclaim what matters most—health, freedom, and purpose—so they can become the men their families need them to be.
For years, I was doing what I thought I was supposed to do: working hard, providing, checking all the boxes. But deep down, I knew something was off. In hindsight, I realize I was living in a state of complete unconsciousness—just going through the motions.
After a strange start in life (you can read more about that here), I bounced from one meaningless job to another. I told myself I was content just making ends meet, but the truth was, I had no direction and no purpose—despite the quiet voice inside me whispering that I was made for more.
I ate whatever I wanted, year after year joining a gym with good intentions and losing motivation within weeks. My mindset was poisoned by negativity, self-doubt, and blame. I had no idea how deeply I was still operating from childhood programming—beliefs that were holding me back in every area of life. I was like a plastic bag in the wind: no goals, no motivation, and absolutely no discipline.
Everything changed when I became a father. Suddenly, the weight of responsibility hit me, and I asked myself a hard question: “What kind of example will I set for my son if I keep living like this?”
Then came a deeper realization—one that hurt more than I expected: If I didn’t change, I’d become just like my dad. I’d pass on the same broken lessons I was taught—that life happens to you, that success is only for the lucky, and that dreams are just for other people. That moment became my wake-up call.
I knew I couldn’t just survive anymore—I had to lead. And that’s why I started Forged By Fatherhood.
I believed there had to be a different way—a better way. A way that didn’t lead to the silent drift that swallows so many men. This project was created to discover and share that way—with fathers who are ready to rise as providers, protectors, and purpose-driven leaders in their homes and in the world.
Here, I share tools, resources, and ideas to help you:
- Build online income, so you can buy back your time and spend it where it matters most—with your family.
- Get healthy and strong, so you can protect what matters and model lasting habits for your children.
- Lead your family with life-affirming values, instead of unconsciously repeating the harmful patterns of the past.
This isn’t just a side hustle or a fitness plan—it’s a movement. A call to men who are ready to be forged into the fathers they were meant to be.
If you’re tired of drifting and ready to build a life worthy of your last name— you’re in the right place.
